"Snowy Triple Trail" MTB Challenge November 10th-11th, 2012
Since postponing the “Snowy Triple Trail MTB Challenge”, we have been working with our event partners to find a suitable date after winter to re-schedule the event.
Rolling Ground Jindabyne are excited to announce that the event will be held in November 2012 and that we're looking forward to working with our many supporters to plan a bigger and better event this time round.
We look forward to seeing many of you here in the mountains for this unique MTB event format and welcome any enquiries regarding the event or accommodation options here in the mountains. The reason for the original events postponement was due to the heavy rain and flooding that damaged some sections of trail we were planning to use for the event. As we're also involved in MTB trail design and construction, we feel it's vital to protect the local trails and didn't want to damage them any further.
The “Snowy Triple Trail MTB race” will be a three stage mountain bike race held over two days on three completely different trails near Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains of NSW. This event follows on from the very popular “Wicked Wombat” 8 hour MTB race we held over the New Year.
The “Snowy Triple Trail” starts on Saturday morning November 10th.
Stage 1: Held on Saturday morning will be a Time Trial event covering approximately 12 km
Stage 2: Held on Saturday afternoon will consist of two laps of the Lake Crackenback Resort MTB Trail.
The riders with the lowest combined time from all three races will be the winners of each category. This event is suitable for all levels of riders and registrations open now.
